The long-running war in Syria has resulted in the destruction of many magnificent, ancient buildings.

Ten years ago Mike Lupton visited this now war-torn country and has a collection of slides showing the splendour of Syria’s heritage, including many buildings that no longer exist.

He will be showing them at the Millennium Memorial hall on Friday 4th March at 7 30 p.m.  Tickets £7 50 per adult (children free).

Tickets available from Carol Ward (01962 883185).

Proceeds for St Catherine’s church funds.  There will be a retiring collection for aid for Syrian refugees.
